=E.M.A=

It was a post on one of my favorite blogs, Rummage Box, that got me to the =E.M.A= store at Creator's Pavilion.

The store is an eclectic mix of formal and casual items. Each design is unique and tends to come in only one color or texture. Although, layering options are limited.....the outfits come with a fun dance animation.

Here's "knit sweater". It's a cozy little sweater that's tied at the waist with a leather string belt. The result is a bunching of the sweater at the front - this cute effect is created by a prim attachment. The leather string detail is carried to the prim cuffs.

Knit Sweater

Several =E.M.A= outfits are all-in-one as shown below. This outfit is called "pink dress". It comes with the bolero, leggings and fishnet tights. All the pieces can be worn separately.

Pink Dress

The last outfit I am going to show you is called "standard dress". It's happily non-standard. See for yourself. If you click on the "turn" version of this skirt (or any skirt from =E.M.A= for that matter) you can adjust its position without having to open the standard edit window. The cropped jacket has a high lace collar which can get the way of a good snapshot.......

Watch out for a new firebird in the SL jungle: Aunna Anatine is on the loose! This latest addition to the MODA Modeling School is one to be watched.

Welcome to the Jungle! Featured is designer Janie Marlowe's Safari from Mischief & Mischief Male. I absolutely love this outfit for its dichotomy! The theme is wild but the execution is of the utmost poise and sophistication. Pockets, collar, and cuffs of this well tailored pantsuit are accented with wild animal print, wild hair from Analog Dog complimenting this theme. Stylish PrimOptic glasses and Earthtones jewelry accentuate sophistication while Solace Black shoes from Maitreya add a finishing touch. Perfect opposites come together in this ensemble to create a fantastic, unique look!

Hair - Amber Brunette / Analog Dog

Indyra Originals

Few weeks ago, I discovered Indyra Originals in my hunt for something new to wear. I get excited when I find a designer that fits my style. Below is Saison, a classic outfit that can go just about anywhere. Saison comes in French Grey, Marine Green, Magenta and Imperial Violet is shown below. The top features a plunging neckline with a low back, sleeve attachment and detailed belt. The jeans are an amazing fit that accentuate the curves. The jeans are also detailed with front and back pockets. This outfit not only looks great it fits like a glove and hugs in the right places making that sexywalk even sexier.

My inventory is impossible. It seems easier to buy a new outfit than to search inventory to find something for that special event. I decided to get organized and shop smart (lol). So, I look for outfits that I can mix n' match with what I already have. Below is Indrya's Kalyso in Blush. The neckline trim, waist cincher and sleeves are optional. The top comes in regular and sheer. I have to say I don't wear mini skirts to often but this mini fits my round bottom nicely. The long skirt has a nice flex to it. Kalyso is also available in cream, mint, sky and mocha top and black pants, mini, or shorts.

There are so many possibilities with both these outfits that they are worth having in your inventory. If you haven't discovered Indrya Originals, it's worth visiting to take a look at what the designer, Indrya Seigo, has to offer.

It's all about love.love.love

I only recently discovered the joys of update groups. Unfortunately, at the same time I discovered that a limit of 25 is in no way enough for all the groups I would like to receive updates from! This has forced me to be really selective about who is included in my list.

One of the more favored groups on my precious list is the “update group for everything love.love.love”. Love.love.love is a quirky, pretty little gem of a store located in beautiful Michief Cove. It is owned by Roberta Beauchamp. As with all the update notices I get these days, I was thrilled to receive Roberta’s notice informing me (and the rest of the update group!) that she had just completed the rest of her fall line consisting of “…hand drawn coats, sweaters, dresses and hats for the brisk autumn evenings in SL!”.

I instantly tped to the store with a friend. In the blink of an eye, my friend had bought this eye-catching, off-the-shoulder, belted grey dress that would instantly identify anyone as an SL fashionista (see below). Roberta is very approachable and was kind enough to inform me, on questioning, that the dress is made of a "cotton and nylon blend", intended to drape gently on the body. Best of all, if this dress is a little out of your price range, you can try the rack of quality discounts at the store.
