HD: Where in the great RL universe are you living?
NK: Charleston, South Carolina - United States

HD: When and why did you join SL?
NK: I started playing SL about a little over a year ago.  I first learned about Second Life while browsing a furry website.  I had also started seeing pictures of other furries that were playing the game.  Immediately, I knew it was the game for me.  I had taken a semester of digital animation about two years before, so everything about the premise of the game was intriguing to me.  Not to mention that it is an escape from reality and into my own furry fantasy world.  I enjoy being different.

HD: How long have you been designing in SL?
NK: About a year.

HD: What prompted you to start designing?
NK: My need to express my gay side through fashion, my love of Photoshop, and a lust for money in the game.

HD: How would you describe your style?
NK: Very colorful and fun.

HD: When SL residents wear your clothes, what do you want them to feel?
NK: I would hope that they feel completeness with their avatars.  I want them to feel that they have bought an outfit that expresses their avatar's personality and screams "GO OUT AND HAVE FUN!"

HD: Tell us about your latest designs?
NK: There are a few designs that I have released recently.  The hottest items at the moment are my rave line.  These outfits consists of a pair of pants that are either paw prints, tiger striped or animal prints.  These pants are black or white and have a number of gradient color schemes.  In addition to that, I have also come out with a line of athletic wear.  There are three categories for these sets: Gym, Track and Cheerleading.  All of these sets come in over forty(40) color combinations and include either sweatbands or flexi pom-poms.  They are very cute designs for the athletic furry or human avatar on the go.

HD: What advice would you give an up and coming SL designer?
NK: Never get frustrated and give up.  Have fun with it.  It's a game and games are supposed to be fun!

HD: What do you know now that you wish you had known when you started?
NK: Designing is a lot more profitable than owning a club.

HD: Please tell us one or two notes about you as a fashion designer that you would like to share with the SL world?
NK: I love to take suggestions for new items.  Fresh ideas are always welcome.  I also have a huge selection of cub/children clothes for those of you who just don't want to grow up or have little ones to watch over.

Best of luck to Nexxus Kohime!
